Soak Well Asphalt Repairs – Bibra Lake

Today we completed a number of remove and replace repairs around soak wells at a commercial premises in Bibra Lake to improve the water flow into the soak wells and to smooth out the ride for any vehicles operating in the vicinity.

Previous to the repairs water would pool around the edge of the soak well lids creating little annoying puddles for staff and vehicles to navigate. This is a common issue for older soak wells and in rare cases, new soak wells where they have not been installed properly. Generally, it is the gradual subsidence of the area adjacent to the soak well lid, over time, that causes the water to pool.
