Asphalt Lapping Patch Repairs – Malibu Veterinary Hospital

Today we completed eight asphalt lapping patch repairs in Safety Bay for the Malibu Veterinary Hospital. Repairs were required for carparking and road access areas where potholes had formed over time.

Lapping patches are the most common and affordable repair option, covering the pothole with new asphalt for a raised finish.

Thanks to our technician Daniel for a job well done and thank you to our friends at Malibu Veterinary Hospital for engaging us to do the work.

Most asphalt mixtures weigh approximately 2.4 tonnes per cubic metre. Asphalt is produced and supplied by the tonne so we are constantly calculating the tonnes we need based on the area and depth of the asphalt being repaired.
