Asphalt Repair Against Concrete Edge – Macrae Rd, Applecross

Thursday, November 2nd, 2023

Today we removed and replaced asphalt adjacent to a new building construction on Macrae Rd in Applecross. As part of the construction, a new driveway, kerbing and drainage pit had been installed requiring the edge of the asphalt road  to be removed and reinstated.

To complete the asphalt repair, we removed the old asphalt, to a set width, adjacent to the new concrete and reinstalled the new asphalt flush with the existing road and shaped to ensure the water would effectively flow towards the drain.

You can see in the before and after images how much better the asphalt to concrete edge now looks.

Thanks to our technicians Pena and Klaid for a job well done and thanks to our friends at Capital Development Partners for engaging us to do the work! A very good outcome.
