Today we completed a large asphalt patch repair on Hawke Avenue, Wundowie for the Water Corporation. Wundowie is approximately halfway between Midland and Northam. This was an important job to replace the asphalt after the Water Corportation had undertaken works to repair infrastructure that was located below the asphalt crossover entrance to a local company.
Due to the types of heavy machinery coming and going from the local company and also the nature of the area affected a multi layered repair was completed. This will ensure that the possibility of the asphalt sinking is reduced. You can see the stages of the repair and the two layers installed in the Before and After pictures below.
