Asphalt Patch Repair – Forrestdale

Saturday, February 17th, 2024

Today we completed a medium sized asphalt patch repair adjacent to a washdown bay water trap / drain lid in Forrestdale for Damage Control Accident Repair Centre.

In some cases the area adjacent to a water trap or drain may subside slightly due to the subsoil or base around the area sinking or moving. This can be due to factors such as inadequate compaction of the surrounding soil during installation or gaps in the drain wall or lid allowing the movement of soil.

Over time the general ground subsidence can leave the drain grate higher than the surrounding asphalt preventing water from entering the drain and leaving noticeable puddles next to it.

Thanks to our technician Daniel for a job well done and thank you very much to our friends at Damage Control Accident Repair for engaging us to do the work.
